Baby’s First Town Hall

Making a Difference

Families and children are visiting town halls and legislators offices this August!

We can get Congress to make child care and early childhood education a priority in the next budget, protect afterschool care programs, and support health care for vulnerable children and families – but only with your help! Join us for Baby’s First Town Hall!

We want YOU – as parents, family members, early educators, community members, and others – to attend town halls and other public events with elected officials and bring up the issue of child care and early learning as a priority.

Is your elected official not holding a public event while they’re back in their home district this August? If they’re on our list of prioritized legislators, we want to get you an appointment with him or her to talk with them about the critical importance of high-quality, affordable child care and issues affecting children and families.

We’ll give you facts and data to present to your elected officials, but we need you to share your personal child care story!
