Child care works when everyone works together
Family Advocacy Sponsorship
This April, more than 200 prominent parent advocates, child care and early education professionals, and federal, state and local leaders from across the nation will come together in Washington, D.C. for three powerful days of interactive advocacy training and meetings on the Hill with policymakers in an effort to make an impact on child care policy.
Child Care Works invites you to join us in this exciting event by becoming a 2017 Family Advocate Sponsor. As a sponsor, you have the opportunity to support the field of child care and early learning, make a connection with local and national leaders in the workforce, and promote your company or products.
Most importantly, your sponsorship will provide a scholarship opportunity for passionate Family Advocates to gain the knowledge and skills to meet with their Congressional representatives, and tell their personal stories in an effort to position child care initiatives at the forefront of the political conversation. Their stories come from all across the country and represent all walks of life. Some parents have had heart-wrenching experiences with the lack of oversight in their child care programs while others are military spouses or active duty service members, working- and middle-class family members, parents of children with special needs, or grandparents.
Our goal this year is to provide at least 40 parents with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in our 2017 Policy Summit and Annual Day on the Hill. To date, we have served over 14,000 parent advocates since the project’s inception.
